Tyre Striping Inks
Tyre striping inks are typically used to mark the centreline of a tyre, and for production identification on extruded rubber tread. Completely curable, they can also be used to mark other green rubber items, including cured sheet rubber and internal components. Our inks are HAPS-free, which allows our customers to meet EPA restrictions. They have consistently proven to reduce defects and waste, and are available in a broad range of vibrant colours & viscosities.
The ink can be applied with our Beugler Wheel System, where the ink is gravity-fed through a nozzle and transferred onto the substrate by a corrugated wheel. As well as the Beugler wheels we also supply accessories and cleaning products. Our tyre striping inks can be ordered in 8 oz. bead marker bottles, quarts, gallon cans, or five gallon pails.
Tyre Repair Paints
This water-based product is applied to cured rubber surfaces in new tyre and retread manufacturing to hide blemishes, scuff marks, scratches, chalk marks, and crayon marks, creating the appearance of a cured finish.
Rubber Repair Paint is applied by conventional spray equipment. Technical assistance on equipment recommendations and cleaning products is also available. The product is black in colour and available in a variety of gloss levels and shades. Repair Paint can be ordered in gallon cans, 5 gallon pails, and 55 gallon drums.
Defect Marking Inks
Defect Marking Inks are available in water-based or solvent-based chemistries for internal and external rubber components in tire building. This multi-use product can be used throughout the tire manufacturing process for coding and identification purposes as well as to denote high point, conicity, and pass/fail marks.
Tread Cement
Tread Cement is ideal for tyre manufacturers that want a cost-effective way to adhere components such as the underside of extruded tread, splices, and skives together.
Tread cement is best applied by a finely atomized air/fluid spray gun to ensure a very thin film and complete coverage. The minimal amount of product needed for adhesion can provide tremendous cost savings for manufacturers. After allowing the cement to dry, the rubber components can be joined together for the curing process.
Bead Marking Inks
Bead Marking Inks are applied to uncured bead rings during the assembly process for coding and identification purposes. The inks are co-curable, have exceptional adhesion to internal rubber components, and do not act as a contaminant. An industry staple for tyre manufacturers, these inks significantly reduce defects and waste during production.
Bead Marking Inks are available in a non-hazardous, water-based formulation (TA series) as well as solvent-based (DH series). The inks are packaged in 8 oz. bottles with a cap and nozzle for easy application and are offered in a wide variety of colours.
